Our Career & Technical Education programs offer a unique blend of in-class and real-world learning experiences. Each CTE pathway is designed to equip students with foundational skills in various industries and future career pathways.

 

 

Agriculture

Dive deep into plant science, sustainable agriculture, and the agriculture business. *Offered for 8th grade only in the Spring.

Learn the fundamentals of business, including entrepreneurship, marketing, and financial literacy.

Digital Art

Develop skills in digital design and animation, exploring future careers in entertainment, marketing, and more. *Offered for 8th grade only.

Drone Technology

Learn about drone operation and explore future career opportunities in a rapidly expanding field. *Offered for 8th grade only.

Health Science

Learn foundational topics in patient care such as first responder roles, support and exchange systems, nutrient exchange, and communication systems. *Offered for 8th grade only in the Fall.

ROTC

Registration Process

 

Help your students jumpstart their future careers with Cherokee Central’s CTE programs. Registration is open in the spring for the upcoming academic year.

  • Open to all students at Cherokee Middle School, with no prerequisites required.
  • Emphasizes practical, hands-on learning tailored to career exploration.
